Valérie Sideco, Founder & President

Valérie Sideco founded VIB Event Staffing in 2009 and has since built it into one of the leading event staffing agencies in the Greater Toronto Area. With a roster of over 170 trained, professional front-of-house staff to draw from, VIB sets the bar high for service.

A trained chef, Sideco spent her formative years working in fine dining establishments and events catering in her native Montreal. A year after arrivingin Toronto, she launched VIB with her first major client,Holt Renfrew, a relationship that served to solidify her commitment to offering a premium service. Ten years later, Holt Renfrew is still a client.    

Valérie lives in the Toronto area with her husband, son and 3 dogs. She loves to cook for her extended family and friends when she has a rare night off! 

Sheena Hall, Booking & Staffing Specialist

Sheena Hall is our Booking and Staff Specialist at VIB. She is an integral part of the team and is responsible for working directly with clients and caterers to book all events for the company. She also coordinates all staffing requirements for each event to ensure a high-quality experience.

She brings extensive experience having worked in catering for three years before moving to her current role. Previously, she was working in fine dining restaurants for over 6 years before making the move to bookkeeping & management.

She makes it easy for clients and aims to add value to all client interactions, helping them to achieve their objectives. Her customer service, attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to keep all the pieces of the puzzle working are critical elements that make her so successful in this role.

Dave Worth, Lead Supervisor & Talent Acquisition

Dave Worth is lead supervisor and responsible for talent acquisition at VIB. Dave interviews, hires and trains team members while also working onsite with clients to ensure each event runs flawlessly and that each team member models the highest guest service standards.

He brings skills and experience with over 15 years in hospitality and 10 years in catering. He is a trained chef who has spent time in fine dining in Toronto, Niagara and Halifax. Previously he has also created catering divisions for two successful restaurants.
His calm and thoughtful approach to issues and quick response skills model our approach to professionalism and customer service.

Donna Fiore, Administrative Assistant

Donna Fiore recently joined the team and is responsible for entering bookings and maintaining records. Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are critical to delivering the highest customer service.

She has a strong background in customer service in loss prevention management with over 22 years of experience. Putting client’s needs first has always been her philosophy. With a professional and friendly attitude, Donna helps the team function smoothly and is a quick learner delivering exceptional service to our clients.
